Edwards Manor has a large population of Polish tenants. Their English skills prevent them from participating in group activities with the other residents, but the social club includes them in decorating the lobby for holidays. Krystina says she loves the community, but she's become uncomfortable in the past year. She says the police visit several times a week, often because of drugs. She won't sit outside, she says, because people throw bottles from the second floor balconies. Glass shards and garbage strewn across the concrete walkway is cleaned up daily, but is present again by dinnertime.
